Through the Fronds

Posted by Elora (Genoa, Italy) on 1 November 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

This picture was also taken on Isola Madre. I just loved how the palm leaves came down all the way to the ground practically. It took me quite a few shots to get this right, since the camera kept wanting to autofocus on what was beyond the frond and not the frond itself - but I won the battle in the end!

Wow, DECEMBER. January will mark my one year anniversary on AM3..how exciting! I started posting to share my images and to find inspiration from others - which I have! but also, and mostly to learn. I feel I have learned a lot from other members, but would like you all to help me learn some more. When you have a few minutes, could you look back in my images from the past year and tell me which ones you think are my five BEST (and why) and my five WORST (and why). I feel that this, more than anything will help me improve and grow. Please let me know either through the contact form or the comments. THANK YOU!!
