Fire!

Isola Bella has a small town surrounding another of the Borromeo villas. This one was one of the most important and was well defended. I found these canons fascinating. They were small and probably wouldn't have done much damage but were all carefully engraved with the family crest.

I took this in Black and White originally, then added a bit of texture for fun :)
